What is the matter with litle
Louisa? She burst
into tears at your efforts to please
her. She couldn't
be worse if you wanted to tease
her- What in the
world can we find to ease her!
Send for the doctor to give
her a pill, Send for a
nurse in case she feels ill, Put her to bed and make her
keep still- What a
shocking affair if it's only
self-will!
Louisa is
better, she's smiling again, The doctor has been and she
hasn't a pain.
I have smacked her well once, and shall smack her
again!
If she whimpers or cries, or starts to
complain.
