You will need:

Two pieces of orange felt. 3 small black buttons for the eyes and nose, and you can cut out any shape you like for the mouth. Lozenge, zig-zag, big teeth, hm m just make them frightening. A darning needle and black wool, some scraps of ribbon or wool for his hair. a little bit of Kapok, or similar for his stuffing.

This is a very easy felt Jack O'lantern. Use an upturned saucer to mark out the circle, remember to cut out two pieces. Then before stitching the two pieces together mark equally for the eyes, and one for the nose, then sew on your buttons. Next comes the mouth, be careful you don't prick your finger otherwise those Vampire Bats may seek you out. When the face is complete, then you can join the two circles together. Remember to leave a two inch gap at the top so that you can put the stuffing inside. Then it's close the top up and sew the hair on and voila! you have a little pumpkin Jack O'lantern.
