Two for the price of one today, one nursery rhyme is about a yummy cake and the other is Making Music.
 SELIGOR'S CASTLE AND CHILD TREASURES

Today the treasure it could be
A lovely fruit cake for our tea

Yummy , lovely Fruit CakeMY CAKE

Mother tells me what to bring,
And then she mixes everything,
Flour and sugar, eggs and spice,
And fruit to make it extra nice.

She lets me carry it myself,
And lay it on the oven shelf;
And father says, "This scrumptious cake
Is like those mother used to make

Here is a lovely Rhyme it is called:

"The Song  of the Mouth Organ"

"Suck-suck-blow-blow" and "Blow-suck-blow !"
Yes that's the way the tunes do go,
As Bubble plays a jolly air,
When driving here and everywhere.

"Hearts of Oak" and then "Home Sweet Home",
He plays wherever he may roam;
Then with a suck and then a blow,
He strikes up: "Where the Waters Flow !"

There isn't much that he won't play,
When he goes driving every day.
"Blue Bells of Scotland", "Cheer, boys, Cheer",
Plays Bubble as he changes gear.

Then in the darkness of the nights,
And when the traffic stops at lights,
You'll see a Bobby tap his toes,
As: "Suck-blow-suck !" happy Bubble blows.

"I don't want trumpets," Bubble cries,
And there's a twinkle in his eyes.
"You can have your fiddle and bow,
As long as I can Blow-suck-blow !"

Have you ever played a mouth organ, they are great fun, you can make one of your own.  You will need a come with teeth close together and without a handle, like the one Daddy uses, if he still has his hair, he he.
Then you will need a thin piece of paper, something like the old fashioned toilet paper the used to have in school. (Your parents will know what Seligor means, or maybe your Grand-parents. )
Then all you do is place the paper over the top of the comb so that it covers all the teeth. Put your lips against the paper and blow and hum, not too gently.
Sometimes it can make your lips tingle but persever it will work.

SO NOW YOU CAN MAKE LOTS OF MUSIC. Measure out the paper to fit the comb from back to front
EAR PLUGS FOR MUMMY AND DADDY I THINK.

This seems to be the same paper mummy uses for lining the cake tins with when she is making a fruit cake. Don't forget to ask her first if you can have some and if you can't manage it Harmonica, another name for a Mouth OrganI'm sure your parents will help you again.
